“There’s a ghost in the house, In the creepy haunted house, On this dark spooky night all alone”.

Happy Halloween week everyone! To get us in the spirit, our children’s book review this week is about this spooky cumulative counting book. This book starts out with 1 cute blue ghost all alone “in the creepy haunted house”. As this ghost moves through the house, he hears all kinds of strange noises from growls to shrieks. Although a bit frightened, he soon learns that all the scary noises turns out to be a friendly monster, mummy, and so on. This book challenges your little one to count up to five and then back down from five.

There is only one thing that can make all our spooky friends run away, can you guess?
